The flotation process also provides basic surface cleaning, removing floating dust and superficial stains to achieve dual effects of raw material pre-treatment and preliminary washing in one step. As a rough pre-sorting device, it focuses on mass impurity removal instead of precise defect detection. It cannot identify internal mold or color defects, which require subsequent fine sorting via color sorters and X-ray machines.
